At Vang, everything has meaning — starting with our name. In Vietnamese, "Vang" signifies "Yes" — a call to embrace every challenge and opportunity with courage. It also means "Echo", symbolizing the way we aim to amplify community and connection through live music, acoustic nights, and shared experiences. And finally, "Yellow", one of our brand colors, represents warmth, energy, and the vibrant spirit that defines everything we do.

But beyond the name, Vang is a story of resilience and second chances. Born from humble beginnings in Vietnam, I watched my parents work tirelessly to give me the chance at something more. Their sacrifices fueled my ambition to create change, leading me to college in Boston and eventually to my dream of opening a restaurant. My first attempt failed — no concept, no brand, no systems. It was a hard lesson, but not the end. I returned with a clearer vision, a stronger plan, and a promise to honor my roots while building something fresh.

Vang is that promise come to life. It’s a space where every slow-dripped coffee, every colorful brunch dish, and every song played on acoustic nights tells a story.
